At HelloCRM, we are committed to providing businesses with seamless, secure, and compliant communication across SMS, WhatsApp, and calls. To maintain the integrity of our platform and ensure a high-quality experience for all users, we have established this Fair Use Policy.

This policy prevents misuse, protects all users, and promotes responsible communication. It is part of the HelloCRM Terms of Service, available at hellocrm.ai/terms.

We reserve the right to monitor usage, impose limits, or charge overages if activity inconsistent with fair usage is detected. Repeated violations may lead to account suspension or termination, with prior notice whenever possible.

Prohibited Messaging and Call Activities

Users may not use HelloCRM’s services (SMS, WhatsApp, or Calls) to send or facilitate:

Obscene or Harmful Content

  • Messages or calls containing hate speech, harassment, threats, or discrimination.
  • Content promoting violence, exploitation, or illegal activities.

Fraudulent or Deceptive Practices

  • Impersonation, phishing, scams, or collection of sensitive personal/financial data.

Cold Outreach Without Consent

  • Sending messages or making calls without explicit recipient consent.
  • All communications must include opt-out mechanisms where required by law.

Malware and Malicious Links

  • Links or attachments containing viruses, spyware, or harmful software.

Restricted Content

Messages promoting, selling, or discussing:

  • Drugs and related products (cannabis, CBD, vape products, prescription medications).
  • Weapons, explosives, and firearms.
  • Gambling, alcohol, or adult content.
  • Hate speech or discrimination.

Unethical Financial Services

  • High-risk financial schemes like payday loans, cryptocurrency scams, or misleading investment opportunities.
  • Debt collection or forgiveness services without regulatory compliance.

Deceptive Marketing Practices

  • Affiliate marketing, lead generation, or data sharing without proper consent.
  • Misleading advertisements or deceptive promotions.

Illegal or Exploitative Schemes

  • Work-from-home scams, pyramid schemes, or “get-rich-quick” offers.
  • Promotion of illegal activities or unauthorized products.

Fair Use Guidelines for SMS, WhatsApp, and Calls

To maintain platform integrity, the following fair use standards apply:

  • Volume Limits: Bulk messaging or excessive calling beyond reasonable business use may be flagged for review.
  • Spam Prohibition: Repeated unsolicited messages or calls without recipient consent are strictly prohibited.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure clear sender identification and avoid misleading or incomplete messages.
  • Opt-Out Compliance: Always include a clear opt-out option in SMS and WhatsApp messages as required by law.

Consequences of Policy Violations

Violating this policy may result in:

  • Temporary suspension of services.
  • Permanent account termination.
  • Additional charges for unauthorized or excessive usage.

Whenever possible, HelloCRM will notify users in advance and provide an opportunity to correct usage issues before taking action.
